What is Hospice?

Hospice care embodies a compassionate approach, focusing on enhancing the quality of life for individuals facing an advanced, life-limiting illness and their devoted caregivers. It’s a heartfelt provision of care for those in the final phases of an incurable disease, aiming to facilitate a life lived as fully and comfortably as possible.  In most cases, hospice services are fully paid for by Medicare, Medicaid, or private insurance without expense to the patient or family.
